Is it me, or do these flowers look like Muppets?

ROFL! I adore the Swedish chef! He, and the two old men in the audience, are probably my favs.

And what kind of flowers are those? Because they really do look like Muppets. Maybe that's where Henson got his original idea...

And didn't they have a Muppet squirrel?

Just askin'...

HAHAHA! Squirrel stew! Thanks for the link.

And I have no idea what kind of flowers those are. They were in the greenhouse. Brenda? Any idea?

For some reason that I have yet to uncover, every time I open my Google reader this post is there on top.

And, completely unbidden, I hear this song in my head. Totally NOT the muppets, but literally what I hear! (I think I have heard this song more often in my head, when prompted by your post, than I have in real life!!)

I think they're actually the 'real' flowers of poinsettias. The big red parts that make them so Christmassy are leaflike bracts and the actual flowers are just the little hardly noticeable ones near the centre. That's my story and I"m stucking to it. But, as for Muppet flowers, have a look:

There are lots of good possibilities and it looks like the Swedish Chef may be lurking in there too!
