CONGRATULATONS Linda Grimes!

Linda Grimes, friend and fellow writer, has just landed a two book deal with Tor!! This is the Sci-Fi/Fantasy imprint of Macmillan Publishing and it's a huge, big, hairy deal!

I read some early drafts and I can honestly say I'm only surprised it took this long because her writing is fun and engaging and just plain terrific. Like Linda.

Way to go, Linderloo! I'm just so very happy for you!

File this under inspiration.

Or why you should never give up.

Or it's never too late to be what you might have been.

Or reasons to do the Happy Dance.

Or why you should pour yourself a glass of champagne, raise a toast whilst simultaneously reaching for that last chocolate truffle. Hypothetically.

LOL! Oh, Pam, you make me so happy! But, really, only hypothetically? ;)

And, yeah, I am proof positive that persistence (some might say *cough* stubbornness) pays off eventually.

(Ha! My verification word: "twitta")

Yeah. I'm with Linda...what's up w/ the 'hypothetically' crap. I want a truffle. And champagne. And there's nothing hypothetical about it.

Psthion is my wv. Psthion, I say! Pass the chocolate, sistah!

Hm. I think I understand the 'hypothetically' now. It means you ain't sharing your chocolates OR your champagne. Is that it?

Isn't it just the best news? I'm so thrilled for her. And I agree - everyone must buy this book; you'll read it and laugh your socks off.

Just your socks. I swear.

(And my verification word was papsta. That just sounds funny.)

Ah, LindyLoo you make ME happy and you're about to make the Whole World happy. And to paraphrase Galaxy Quest, "by Grabthar's hammer, you're going to hit the bestseller list!

Debby, I'm not good about sharing food, at least not with chocolate. If you were standing behind me, you'd know what I mean. Let's just say I cast a big shadow.

Julie, papsta sounds like the Jersey version of popstar.
