- A Novel Woman, AKA Pamela Patchet, was unwittingly born and raised in Toronto instead of Paris. She worked her way from A&W carhop to political advisor to advertising executive where, on any given day, she was called upon to soothe disgruntled clients, cajole temperamental artists, juggle multi-million dollar budgets or locate trained penguins for television commercials. She married a handsome dentist for love and a lifetime of free dental care, raised three kids, and established a freelance writing career, not unlike her earlier jobs, minus the penguins.

Too cute. Nice to hear your voice too!! Unfortunately our broadband connection is very slow and dodgy, so I got it in drawn out instalments and gave up after about 10 minutes!!!

Bush Babe, I don't think my voice on tape is my 'real' voice. In order to get Buddy to cooperate, I have to swing back and forth between newborn sweet talk and drill sergeant commands. But I could be wrong.:)

Yeah, we're working on the tail way. I can get him to stop but it's another command, and he's supposed to be dead.;)

One never thinks their voice on tape or video sounds like them. It's because you hear yourself from the 'inside' of your ear and others hear you from the 'outside' of theirs. If you ask someone who knows you, they'll tell you that yes, that sounds just like you on the video.

That's definitely your voice. Clearly you're talking to the dog, with that slightly sweet-talking tone, but its still you.

OMGosh!!!! Buddy is so darling! And brilliant as well!
A few years ago I tried making a similar video of Sparky doing her tricks. Unfortunately she was not accustomed to a video recorder and when I gave her the first command, she bolted right into the camera and knocked me from my squatting position onto my can. Too funny!
Give Buddy a rib-rub for me!!!
