What's black and white and read all over?

Posted by Picasa

THIS BLOG, if the ClustrMap on the right is anything to go by. I had a look-see and realized there are people literally all over the world reading this blog. How cool is that? However, I'm sorely disappointed (nay, SHOCKED!) there are no fans in Madagascar and Siberia. Hello? Anybody home? Come on over and stay awhile.

They might not find anyone home, however, as I'm going to be offline for a few days as I'm headed to the wilds of British Columbia for the inimitable (say that 10 times) Surrey International Writers' Conference. I say "wilds" but really it's a few days in a lovely hotel and I get to attend some amazing workshops and socialize with some of the best writers from around the world.

See ya later, gators.

Dear Pam,

Isn't the ClusterMap as addictive as chocolate. Have you discovered Google Analytics yet? I have very recently and I tell you, it's akin to crack. Dangerous stuff.

Have a blast in Surrey and say "bonjour" for me to Kathy, KC, Rhonddalyn, etc. etc. etc.

...that would "the be big red DOT hovering over France" of course.

Obviously time to go and serve myself another espresso.

Hey Pam! It was so good to see you - and the rest of the CompuServ group - this past weekend. I'll be watching your blog. LOVE your photos!

Okay, what _is_ that red dot? You didn't cut the tree and make it bleed, did you? Just to get an intriguing picture? Because that would be mean. {g}

You guys....

Linder, do you really think I'd make a tree BLEED?! Don't answer that.

If you scroll down a few posts, you'll see a layered fungus shot. This is how they start out. Little bitty red dots that look like someone stuffed the bark with chewing gum.

I liked the visual look of it.

ROXANNE!! You rock. It was SO good seeing you again, and I wish we'd spent more time together. It's a bit like attending a wedding reception. You try to talk to as many people as possible but....
