Silly videos and a question

I love the high fives they give each other at the end of their performance. No clue at all....

How cute is this kid? (Beware: this song has a tendency to become a brain worm.)

So, here is my question. A member of my local camera club, I'll call him 'Richard' (for that is his name) revealed that he'd done a search on my blog for all my recipes. Now, I've hardly put any up, since I didn't think people cared about such things. I love to cook all manner of things from cakes and breads, vegetarian and meat-based main meals, pretty much soup to nuts. Okay, maybe not nuts. No, hang on. I do have a recipe for spicy roasted pecans with maple syrup.

So my question is: hands up how many would be interested in me posting recipes on a regular basis?

(And Richard, I know how to make vegetable samosas with coriander chutney. You know the one I'm talking about.)

So?

Who's for it?

Who doesn't care one way or the other?

Do you walk to work or bring a lunch?

I am always up for a good recipe - and yours always sound good.

And I walk to work but don't take my lunch - I just can't bear it :)

Yes please- esp Canadian dishes. I love it when people share their local dishes - not saying I'd necessarily COOK them, but I would love to be tempted!

Am considering doing the same thing at my place - bomb-proof bush babe recipes!!

Oh Pam! I can't believe you quoted that line! That is one of my favourites! "Do you walk to work or bring a lunch?" Ha ha ha ha.... falling on the floor, laughing.
And, yes, I'd love to see your recipes :-)

Me! I'm so tired of my recipes...

Me! Not that I'd every try them myself (no culinary skill whatsoever), but I am strangely fascinated by reading recipes and pretending I COULD make the dish, if I really tried.

OMGosh!

I ADORE baby videos. My children mock me for this. Did you post the one where the baby is in the highchair and starts laughing? I'll watch it and laugh until I have tears streaming. Then my kids mock me. Maybe they'll get it when they have babies of their own.

and YES, post recipes.

OMGosh! My word verification is gedefood! Do you have any recipes for cooking gedefood? It is the national dish of the Gede people.

Gede food is too G.D. spicy for me.(g)

Okay you guys, you got it. But I don't know how "Canadian" they'll be. Montreal especially is known for a wide variety of foods. I am influenced by my British grandparents (oatmeal scones anyone?)but also Thai, Indian, Greek, Portuguese, Lebanese, Japanese....

It's going to be a fun ride!

On further research (read: Google) I realise you might not have been quoting anyone with that do you walk to school or take your lunch - but the first place I ever heard it was in a MuchMusic station identification sketch, back in the day when it was still a music station and not a reality tv station, and I think I still have it taped on vhs somewhere... Tried finding it on YouTube so you could all share in my laughter, to no avail :-(

Deniz, I had no idea where that quote originated. I've been saying it since before electricity was invented. Well, maybe not THAT long. But close.

I'll be interested to know if you can find the source. Otherwise, I claim it in the name of PAMELA! (g)
