How April Fools' Day is celebrated in Canada
Yes, that's snow.
Oh, but according to the weather forecaster, the "good news" is, it's going to change to rain this afternoon. Only in Canada could rain be considered good news.
Can you hear a collective "UNCLE!" from where you are?
Good Grief! That's it! Pack your bags and hie thy heine on a plane to Denver. We know how to do snow around here. We might get a bit in the morning when we wake up, you know, just enough to make you sigh and say, "Tre lovely!" (That's French, BTW, for "How lovely") But then by 10 a.m. it's all melted!
Plus, just think of all the stunning photos you could take! Get going! I'm heading to the airport now...
A Novel Woman, AKA Pamela Patchet, was unwittingly born and raised in Toronto instead of Paris. She worked her way from A&W carhop to political advisor to advertising executive where, on any given day, she was called upon to soothe disgruntled clients, cajole temperamental artists, juggle multi-million dollar budgets or locate trained penguins for television commercials. She married a handsome dentist for love and a lifetime of free dental care, raised three kids, and established a freelance writing career, not unlike her earlier jobs, minus the penguins.
