When I look at that first photo, I see a long, cylindrical, swollen tube-like thing whose sole function is to disburse pollen. The second photo is (obviously) a crotch.... a tree crotch. That third photo is the one that has me confounded!

Amy, I don't know. I'd be tempted to rear-end one of those truck nutz if I saw one. No pun intended.
My neighbor's 21 year old son has those ugly truck nutz hangin' off the back of his big Ford pick-up. Yuck! We have a comfortable friendship so I've been vociferous about how the kid appears to be "red-neck white trash." It hasn't done any good. I'll just stick with my male cycad cones and horn-dog hubby, thank you very much.

Oh, now, I'm not saying I like 'em either. In fact, I find them offensive, but I just think there are far more important issues to deal with. Besides, letting people do things like put gonads on their vehicles helps me to separate the wheat from the chaff pretty quickly. :)
