I don't think there's a way to introduce this. The title pretty much says it all. Although I will say, if you're not a Monty Python fan, you won't understand it.
But then again, if you're not a Monty Python fan, you will never truly understand me.

You'll either get it, or you won't. I will say that Monty Python and the Holy Grail is one of my all time favourites. I saw it in the theatre and I laughed so hard, the guy in front of me turned around to ask if I was okay, because I'd started wheezing.

I remember being horrified at a lot of this stuff too. It seems so tame now, but at the time...(shudder)
You're probably too young, but LOST IN SPACE freaked me out too. I had nightmares as a kid, yet I watched, week after week. Now, when I look at the robot which instilled so much fear, I can see he has dryer vents for arms.
it brought together my two favourite things...old star trek (because i got to see them when they were originally broadcast and the new stuff just didn't compare) and monty python. that is so awesome!

Ah, creepy uncle was Dr. Smith, methinks. And that show gave me nightmares, which cracks up my kids when they see the re-runs.
YAY! Love Monty Python, and that edit is scarily spot on for Star Trek, isn't it? My kids are falling for Monty Python too, it's nice to pass it on to a new generation, although they love Life of Brian best - I always preferred The Meaning of Life.

This was wonderful, I laughed and *laughed.* Mr brother, Jim and I can still sing 'Eric the Off-A Bee' along with many other Python favorites. With Star Trek, (best show ever!)this is to howl. Thank you! Oh, dear, now "Always Look on the Bright Side' is playing in my head. Apparently, one of the Python guys knew they had made an historic contribution when he heard people singing that at a soccer match. Their side was *losing* but they ran to the song for comfort.
