I suppose I shouldn't tell you that in Los Angeles, I've seen some California Poppies blooming... or that my camellias are in bud... or that I have some geraniums blooming.
Can I admit something here without getting walloped? I crave some more snow and ice photos...
BTW we had a doco on TV here the other day about the Montreal ice storms - holy moly Pam!!! That was OUTRAGEOUS. I'm going back to read that post you did on it. If I can find it!
:-) BB
PS my WV is formente - is that the French precursor to torment?
Pam! Pam! I saw a robin today! He was perched on a roof top overlooking the snow, wondering, no doubt, why he returned in February. But a robin, even a grumpy robin, is a sign of spring.
Debby, you made my day!! Next to the geese flying overhead honking their hellos, the robin's spring song makes my heart soar. I've heard the cardinals singing their come hither songs too, so I know the warm weather is not too far off.
A Novel Woman, AKA Pamela Patchet, was unwittingly born and raised in Toronto instead of Paris. She worked her way from A&W carhop to political advisor to advertising executive where, on any given day, she was called upon to soothe disgruntled clients, cajole temperamental artists, juggle multi-million dollar budgets or locate trained penguins for television commercials. She married a handsome dentist for love and a lifetime of free dental care, raised three kids, and established a freelance writing career, not unlike her earlier jobs, minus the penguins.

My friend and I went to a garden shop yesterday. It was so wonderful.
Oh, a garden shop. Even better than hothouse orchids!

It's almost spring, after all!

Lauri, lalalalala (fingers in ears) can't hear you lalalala.
BB, the Ice Storm was crazy! Look for A Winter Wonderland post December 13 2008 for our experience.
And if you want snow photos to show your Dash, put "Easter" in the search blog box.
