It's been some while since I posted here -- once school begins Life, as I know it, ends.
I see you have a new Mac. Is this your first? What kind did you get?
I see you are recommending Temple Grandin's book (on your Amazon widget). She is a phenomenal success considering the severity of her autism. I shared in the past that my older son is autistic, so when I began the journey of parenting him, Grandin's books happened to be the first I read. What a mind-blowing introduction to the subject!
Your pooch is so sweet. I especially love his Star Wars look.
Buddy is just so adorable! By the way, I got a bunch of catalogues in the mail the other day (I guess a certain holiday season is coming up) and one of them, The Added Touch, has a book called Outwitting Squirrels (http://www.addedtouchstore.com/prodinfo.asp?number=1302). Is Bill Addler a pen name of yours? :-)
A Novel Woman, AKA Pamela Patchet, was unwittingly born and raised in Toronto instead of Paris. She worked her way from A&W carhop to political advisor to advertising executive where, on any given day, she was called upon to soothe disgruntled clients, cajole temperamental artists, juggle multi-million dollar budgets or locate trained penguins for television commercials. She married a handsome dentist for love and a lifetime of free dental care, raised three kids, and established a freelance writing career, not unlike her earlier jobs, minus the penguins.
